Home-Brewed Garden Insect Spray
- 2 whole heads of garlic, cloves separated and peeled
- 3 cups of mint leaves and stems
- 2 tsp. of dry red cayenne pepper
- 2 small squirts of eco-friendly dishwashing liquid
First, pulse the garlic and the mint in a food processor. Then, transfer the mixture into a pot of 12 cups of water (2.8 liters) and add the cayenne pepper. Boil the ingredients, remove them from heat and leave it to rest overnight. Finally, strain it in spray bottles, add the 2 small jets of dish soap, and shake to mix.
Make sure you shake the spray container every time before using it. You should spray all leaves of the affected plant on a cloudy day or in the early morning or late evening. You should cover both the top and reverse side. After several days, you will be amazed by the results.
