The Thumb Test
This is another great method. Simply, put a small drop of the honey on your thumb. If the honey spills or spreads around, it is not pure. The pure honey will stay intact on your thumb.
In order to perform the iodine test, you should add a few drops of iodine to a glass of water and then add some honey. Then, if the honey turns blue, it has been combined with corn starch and it is fake.
You should remember that organic honey is flammable. Hence, the matchsticks light even and easily after they have been immersed in pure honey.
This is another great test. All you should do is place a spoon of honey in a glass of water. The fake honey will dissolve in water and you will see it around the glass.
