- 1 large onion
- a grater/ blender/ juicer
- a strainer
First, you should wash the onion thoroughly and peel off the outer layers. Then, chop it into smaller pieces and blend it well. In case you are using a grater, you should use the finest side to grate the onion, while using a juicer is the easiest way for preparing onion juice at home. Next, place the pulp in a strainer and squeeze out as much juice as you can. You should use the juice to massage your hair, especially the scalp. Leave it to act for 30-45 minutes and wash with shampoo. Repeat this method once or twice a week.
Onion Juice After-Wash Solution
- 1 tbsp. of onion juice
- 1l warm water
The preparation of this solution is quite easy. All you should do is add the onion juice to the warm water. Use the mixture as the final rinse after you shampoo. Repeat the procedure every second day.
Note: Remember that the odor of onion will be retained in your hair until the next time it is shampooed.
