Sleep is crucial for your health and wellbeing. Lack of sleep can be detrimental to the health and trigger various ailments. Hence, proper and quality sleep is essential. When it comes to how much we should sleep, the experts claim that everyone should follow certain recommendations. Thus, the National Sleep Foundation recommends sleep time according to age. Moreover, the duration of sleep determines your energy during the day, optimal health, and mental clarity.

In case you suffer from sleep issues and irregular sleeping patterns, it may indicate that you are overstressed. This is so because the stress stimulates the production of cortisol, which causes restful sleep, sickness, and discomfort. Additionally, sleep can be disrupted by technology, too. Over time, lack of sleep may trigger physical tiredness, difficulties to think clearly, make decisions, and concentrate.
